I Need Help

The Union works to uphold the three-year contract that the Employer and the Union agree upon.

If you feel your manager may be violating the contract, are being called to a meeting you feel may lead to discipline, or have other questions about the contract or discipline, please reach out to your Union Stewards!

Send an email including EVERYONE in the table below outlying the potential issue or requesting a call to have an initial discussion. We will work to assign a steward or rep based on availability and get back to you quickly.

Know your rights!

If you are called into a meeting with management and believe discipline may result, you have the right to request union representation. You must make this request. Management is not obligated to tell you about your Weingarten rights. You can make this request before or during the meeting, saying something that conveys the following message:

“If this discussion could in any way lead to my being disciplined or terminated, or in any way affect my personal working conditions, I respectfully request that my union representative, officer, or steward be present at this meeting. Without representation present, I choose not to participate in this discussion.”

If management denies your Weingarten rights, the discipline may be invalid because you weren’t allowed representation.
